how to get a little big planet beta key or at least how to try to get one
First it was Eurogamer giving away Beta keys and then Game Informer, Gamepro, G4, and last night, Gamespot. Gamespot did a really shoddy job getting the keys out to people as it was done on some show called On The Spot. At the end of the show the terrible hosts gave a trivia question and then said if you answered correctly, you’d get a beta key for LBP. However, their answer submission system was screwed up and many people became confused and angry about the whole situation.
I haven’t heard of anyone getting their beta keys from Gamespot yet. Even worse, Sony has just recently decided to post beta info and Media Molecule is reporting that they have no control over the beta keys.
Sony most likely should have just distributed these beta keys with an episode of Qore or just through the Sony and Little Big Planet blogs instead of giving them out to media outlets that haphazardly give away. Bad move, Sony.
Anyway, I haven’t acquired a beta key, yet but still am trying. Sony hints that If you want to still give yourself a chance at nabbing one, you should point your RSS feed reader at these sites:
