LBP Beta Codes Please!

The internet has been ablaze with fans trying to get their hands on a LittleBigPlanet beta code. My girlfriend and I included! Of course, it’s been a challenge and some of the problem has been user error and some of it has been the fault of Sony and the news sites giving away the codes.

However, one site surprisingly may be distributing the codes fairly and in an informed manner. Chris Roper of IGN updated their site today with this:

“Whew — we’re done taking submissions. Thanks for the overwhelming number of submissions, folks. We’re going through the e-mails now and will be sending out the codes as we can over the next few days. If you got something in before now, watch your inbox.”

Luckily my girlfriend and I sent our email off to IGN a little less than five hours after the submissions opened up so hopefully we’ll be receiving our LBP beta code tonight or tomorrow.

Becca (my girlfriend) has been frustrated with how the beta has been handled and I agree with her as I think that it’s been extremely unfair as to how the fans have been treated regarding the beta. Hopefully Media Molecule and 1up will be releasing some beta code information today as they said they would.

If I do get my hands on the beta, I’ll let you know, and until then, good luck getting a code of your own.
