The Earthbound/Mother fever has struck me hard since the fan translation for Mother 3 was completed. In fact my girlfriend is in on the action too since she’s currently using her awesome internet to download us over a gig of Earthbound tunes. I’ve been playing the game for about three hours now and so far it’s I can give it nothing but praise. I’ve been so excited that tonight, I even bought this shirt:

I’ll be posting more thoughts on Mother 3 as I continue to play it and after I let it sink in. A game this intensely awesome and deserving of attention really can’t be summed up in any sort of review or recommendation, so we’ll see how I approach writing about it.
