FlOw Meets Rez in Child of Eden [e3 2010]

e3ssentials is GGG’s way of hand-picking some coolness at e3 this year, so you don’t have to wade through the boring stuff.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi is back! The Rez and Sega Rally creator has crafted the spiritual successor and seemingly sequel-esque Child of Eden which will be released for Playstation Move and Microsoft Kinect.

The game looks mind-blowingly cool and even goes as far as actually re-using sound effects from the Dreamcast classic.



I haven’t been this excited for a motion controlled game since seeing the teaser for the Wii many e3 ago. While I can get a clear idea of how the gameplay will work from the trailer, I’m still not sure how it’ll work, especially with Move and Kinect being fairly different from one another.

The gameplay in the trailer seems to be more in tune with Microsoft’s motion magic, but I can imagine it’ll play just as well on the PS3.
