Rayman Origins: A Return to the Beauty of 2D [e3 2010]
e3ssentials is GGG’s way of hand-picking some coolness at e3 this year, so you don’t have to wade through the boring stuff.
Raving Rabbids got out of hand. Really out of hand. The introductary motion control Wii gaming it presented was cool, but the one Wii launch title turned into four games - and well, who knew when or how Christophe de Labrouhe would pull Rayman out of the Rabbid hell?
Thankfully, that question has been answered with the following trailer.
I have to say Ubisoft is on a publishing roll with me so far, with Child of Eden being published by them and of course home town hero, Rayman Origins.
The game doesn’t look to be pushing any sort of side-scrolling gameplay advances, but if it is attempting to be one of the most beautiful 2D games, then it definitely has a chance.
It even looks like you can co-op play with Globox, which is cool considering how he uses his mouth to hold on to the collosus at a 1:26.
