Good Game Get! Looming

Looming is a new exploration game from Gregory Weir.

It’s a haunting and mysterious sci-fi love story set in the dark, with a minimalist aesthetic, culturally divided history, and a wish that the player suspend themselves in imagination and patience to make it through all of the endings.

The graphics are by far my favorite part of the title, and the discovery and collection system is rewarding, and essential to creating the story surrounding the game.

Together Weir’s game philosophy and knack for good narrative shines in Looming, which I believe to be his best title yet.
