Good Game Get! Burn Zombie Burn

My girlfriend and I picked up the excellent Burn Zombie Burn Playstation Network game yesterday. We felt it was appropriate as we had just come down from a week and a half of playing the awesome Resident Evil 5.

The DoubleSix zombie burning title is in the vein of classic score chasing arcade titles and that’s really where its most refreshing. The new twist to this great title is the use of a secondary weapon that is none other than a torch. You can use the torch to then catch the zombies on fire, and of course if the flaming zombie touches another zombie, that zombie too will become engulfed. The burning zombies then become score multipliers, except they’re highly dangerous and will absolutely overtake you if you aren’t careful or become a little too greedy with multipliers.

The cartoon classic horror movie look coupled with awesome weapons such as a dance gun and a lawnmower make the game absolutely hilarious to watch and play. The co-op mode makes the game even better, so you can blast away wave after wave of zombies until you or your partner becomes zombie food.

All in all, the game really does have a simple arcade premise and an undeniable charm with its simplicity. At only ten dollars, it really is an absolute great title and has already given my girlfriend and I lots of laughs and smiles from its absurdity.
