Good Game Get! Rittai Picross

If you haven’t heard yet, Rittai Picross for the DS is absolutely awesome. It’s not available in the states yet so if you want to import it, I highly recommend it.

The game isn’t too heavy on Japanese text, but it is very heavy on awesome 3D puzzle action. I’ve really never enjoyed a single player puzzle game more. I played Picross on the DS originally and enjoyed it, but it’s nothing like the joy I get from playing Rittai Picross.

The game’s puzzle elements are uniquely original and while difficult to explain will come easy once you understand the game’s rules. To explain it in the most simplest of terms, it’s almost like a modified Sudoku where you create a picture instead of solving boring number puzzles.

It’s a really fun title and while the learning curve is larger than other puzzle games, the pay off is most certainly worth it.
