The DSTT Is Terrible

I recently traded my EDGE flash cart (which I’ve had no problems out of) for a vintage iMac for my girlfriend and while the trade was totally worth it; I needed a new flash cart so I got on Deal Extreme to look for one and the DS TopToy was cheap and promising.

It’s definitely cheap!

Essentially the thing is a piece of shit and freezes on startup and is unreliable. I’ve tried numerous fixes including sticking cardboard between the DS and the flash cart to make sure the connectors were touching and none of the solutions have worked.

My girlfriend still has the EDGE card I bought her and it works great so I should have just coughed up the $22 for one instead of trying to save money.
