The $300 Air Freshener: Mach Pizza Delivery Man

You’ll find the above, extremely rare air freshener on eBay for a starting bid of $329. I doubt it’ll sell for that much, but it’s one of the coolest pieces of video game merch.
It’s not the actual piece that is awesome though, it’s the story behind how you would’ve acquired it in the ’90s.
“In the back of the EarthBound Player’s Guide, there are 6 scratch-n-sniff cards that represent different aromas you might encounter while playing the game. One of these cards had a mystery smell, and if you sent it in to Nintendo, you would get a free air freshener in return. This air freshener smelled like pizza and was shaped like the Mach Pizza delivery man. Apparently the smell lasted only a day after using it. “
Cool! Although, I would’ve liked to experienced the scents and the act of guessing and sending in for my air freshener instead of buying it today off of eBay.
What an incredible Nintendo promotion though! Especially for a ’90s Nintendo of America.
Oh NOA. Why did you not have faith in Mother 3?

Counterfeit eBay Mother Mousepad

I can’t get enough of Retrorama’s terribble copyright infringing merchandise, and the above Mother mousepad is no exception. How incredibly, badly awesome.
For $4.99 it actually doesn’t seem like such a bad deal.

fake mother zero watch kind of cool
The following watch would be megaton awesome if real, sadly it’s not, well it’s sort of real because a seller on eBay is selling it, but it’s not really real, you know?
The design of the watch isn’t too bad, but the following image is clearly Photoshopped. I wonder what it looks like in real life? The $12 in my pocket says I should deposit them into PayPal and find out.

Just check out that awesome space background, though. That’s intense.
