Pokémon as Muse, or This is Just Effing Brilliant
There’s some amazing Pokémon fan art out there, but this collection might just be my favorite.
deviantART user CasteelArt has mashed up the style of the hand drawn field guide with his love of pocket monsters to create some incredible art, including the following which offers an examination of the temperaments of the simian Pokémon…
I can’t mention any Pokémon art with out giving a nod to Maré Odomo’s wonderful Letters To An Absent Father…

And since for some silly & awesome reason I’m playing “Red” on a GBC right now (yes, I did buy the Magikarp — the little guy needed a better home) and have not received HM 01, I can’t help but think of this by deviantART user RNZZZ…

(spotted on Kotaku)Emonga is currently the cutest fifth generation Pokémon
Seribii put up some new Pokémon Black and White images and the above little electric flying squirrel was included.
I am floored by his cuteness.

An Interview with This Serious Creator Byron Buslig

Brownkidd of ALBOTAS did a great interview with the dude behind This Serious.
In other Pokécomic news, the cool Maré Odomo debuted his new comic about Mewtwo!

This Serious - A New Pokémon Webcomic
We all already know and love Maré Odomo’s awesome and now finished Letters to an Absent Father comic featuring a lonely Ash Ketchum writing his father.
How about something new (and not as sad) starring Charmander and a lovable dumb Squirtle?
Byron Buslig is responsible for This Serious, a wacky and mostly nonsensical tale about Squirtle and Charmander trying to live their lives outside of a trainer’s Pokéball.

He seems to update a least once a week, and I’m totally bummed that the RSS feed doesn’t work, but I’ll be sure to check back manually.

The Definitive Pokémon Black & White Trailer
This trailer covers some mad cool shit that I don’t even quite get because I don’t speak or read the language.
All of the new internet features look incredible though, including what appears a special website integration where your Pokémon dream and end up in the tubes!
Perhaps this is the new alternative to the Pokéwalker?
Did you like the whole dressing your Pokémon up, sending them on stage, and watch them dance segment?
I am looking forward to this.
