Back in 2005 FM3, a Chinese electronic group released an album inside of a cheap plastic box called The Buddha Machine. Basically it’s a collection of 2-3 second sounds that loop to form infinite ambient music.

Just recently the group has released the second incarnation of The Buddah Machine and it’s complete with nine new loops and a new pitch adjuster.

If you’re looking to surprise someone this Christmas with a really awesome and completely one of a kind gift, then the new Buddha Machine 2 is the one to get. My girlfriend and I received the first Buddha Machine last year and we’ve derived a lot of enjoyment from it.
