Oh shoot. More Four Tet today. This time it’s a collab between Hebden and Burial. Seriously one of the tightest electro dubstep tracks I’ve ever heard. Couldn’t find any substantial album art for it, so above is one of my own photos.

Benny Boeldt is Adventure. Not the video game, but the dance floor wizard that manages to take the best elements of 8 bit video game soundtracks of yesteryear and turn them into dance floor friendly pop songs.
Utilyzing an incredible pallette of sounds; he’s able to craft simple, but incredibly catchy songs (hence the simplicity) and through his music, he almost creates a video game soundtrack to that game you never played.
Very rad stuff.
Final Fantasy - Plays To Please
Incredible violinist Owen Pallett of Arcade Fire and Beirut fame continues to impress me with his homosexual video game inspired tunes and he seems to be getting better with each successive release. In Final Fantasy’s newest EP, Pallett decides to spin his outrageous lyricism and vocals with a 1920s musical style fit for a stage.
I suggest spinning it.
