In this day and age with so many different varieties of casino games, one can feel quite lost. I can remember walking past casinos and thinking they were places where only gangsters went at one point and glamorous millionaires at another due to the only exposure I had had to them being through films and television. As soon as I became of age, one of the things I wanted to cross off my ‘Becoming 18’ list was to visit a casino. I did and I lost £50 straight away on the roulette. Needless to say, I jumped in too quick, left straight away and have never been back.
However, since then, all the online casino gaming advertisements several companies keep introducing to television, I am incredibly tempted to try again. This time, I know that there are benefits of online playing that can help me be a little bit more money-wise.
Of course you can get everything you see in a real casino and more with most websites, from slots, to roulette and blackjack, to card and table. I have recently been taught how to play poker and there is next to no skill involved with slots (you just need to know how to work them). There are different brands to try out, for example a slot based on the film ‘The Mummy’ as well as variations, such as Texas Hold’em poker.
With online playing, I don’t have to leave the comfort of my own home, I can take my time exploring the website and different games available and I can join in on the chat rooms and forums with questions and answers if I ever know any of them. This is another bonus for me. I have a terrible poker face so people not being able to see how I cringe when I get a bad hand is great. I can talk to people who have similar interests game-wise to me with the live chat and I never have to tell anyone about it if I don’t want to (however, I don’t find it embarrassing or anything, so chances are as soon as I try it, my whole family will know!)
